<title>RC Disco Website Now Live &quot; XRAY HUDY KO Propo &quot;</title>
<link>http://piraterc.com/modules.php?op=modload&amp;name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=2639</link>
<description>

  Greg Hill - Managing Director &amp;amp; RC Racer

RC Disco are proud to distribute XRAY &amp;amp; HUDY, some of the strongest and most popular brands in the RC community, with KO Propo products confirmed and being added to our stocks soon. More race brands will follow.
RC DisCo has chosen to focus on selling and supporting racing products; selling to model shops that support RC racing here in the UK. As a distributor of racing products it is essential that we understand what we are talking about, and that is why we have chosen experienced racers to assist in running this new company.
If I may introduce myself - Greg Hill, I’m sure many of you have met me over the years. I’ve been racing for about 25 years, and working in the model industry for the last 10 years - so there’s a chance I’ll have met you either at a race or a shop sometime, or while attending or organising races somewhere. For the last few seasons I’ve been running an XRAY in 8th Off Road, but before that it was 10th electric Touring Cars, 10th Buggy among many others.
Please get in touch with us, as a shop or racer alike, we are keen to offer assistance with any information you require.
Best Regards, Greg Hill.

<title>BRCA 1/8th Off-Road Nationals - Rnd 5</title>
<link>http://piraterc.com/modules.php?op=modload&amp;name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=2637</link>
<description>The 5th round of the series was the 1st of 2 to be held at the fantastic
Slough venue. Glorious weather greeted the competitors on sunday morning and the
racing was set to be excellent.

In the qualifying sessions it was Graham Alsop who came out of the blocks
fastest by taking the TQ in rounds 1 and 2 of qualifying. This would give him
pole position for the final with his RB powered car. The final round of
qualifying saw Darren Bloomfield take the round and in doing so take the fastest
overall time of the meeting. This result gave Darren 2nd on the grid with Lee
Martin taking 3rd with his RC8B/Reedy combination. Elliott Boots would line up
4th with his RB/Savox equiped car and Jon Hazelwood would be 5th with his Hobao/Savox
combo. There were a few surprises in qualifying, most notably championship
leader Neil Cragg who could only qualify 11th after some tough qualifying heats.

<title>Racing Fuel Hot Fire EURO </title>
<link>http://piraterc.com/modules.php?op=modload&amp;name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=2635</link>
<description>

Racing
Experience introduce a new formula in the Racing Fuel line.
&amp;nbsp;

	The
	Racing Fuel Hot fire EURO comply with the off road rules running in some
	country in Europe where 25% is the maximum nitro allowed.

	The
	new lubricant package and the lower nitro rate drives&amp;nbsp;the price cooler
	and&amp;nbsp;gives a smoother acceleration which was a request from our customers.
	Smoother acceleration increases drivability and reduces tyres spinning which
	improves the fuel mileage (mpg)

	&amp;nbsp;This new Formula is available in both 5 and 2 litres&amp;nbsp;

<description>
The third round of the CML sponsored Fastrax Summer Series took place at the
Stoke Nitro Racing Club over the weekend.

1/8th Buggy Class
In qualifying it was Ashley Timms who impressed most with the TQ for the meeting
with Scott Francis second and Dennis Holding third. The start of the A-Final was
very clean without the first corner pile-up that usually happens as all the
racers charge to lead the pack. Ash got away very quickly with Ashlee Owen
second fastest off the line and Scott in third.

<title>Josh Pain Talks RC8B!</title>
<link>http://piraterc.com/modules.php?op=modload&amp;name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=2627</link>
<description>

					Buggy-Pitstop.com:
					Team Associated have released the new RC8B. What are the
					main difference they have made between the old RC8 and the
					new RC8B?
					&amp;nbsp;

					Josh Pain:
					Obviously from the photos, are the new blue aluminum shock
					towers, which transform the car into a totally different
					machine from the old model. Along with other changes, are
					new steering geometry, plastics and a hot set of aluminum
					pivot blocks. Things that don’t stand out are things like
					lightweight engine mount and the new battery box and the
					list goes on.
					&amp;nbsp;

					All I can
					say is that since I have been running the new car, my
					results have gone from mid pack to the pointy end of the
					field, with two top qualifiers, 3 pole positions and a title
					win this year at Nationals Series Events.

					I think that
					speaks for itself as far as how much better the new car is.

<description>

It was another sucsessful race day in Alberta with 111 entries
taking in the second leg of the Alberta Divison Series. Track conditions were
extremely dusty which made it chalenging for both the drivers and their
machines.&amp;nbsp; Track conditions were extremely dusty which made it challenging for
both the drivers and their machines. The race day ran very briskly and wrapped
up just shortly after 6pm. The compressed schedule made it very tough for
drivers to wrench on their machines and a few fell to the way side with
mechanical issues. Overall agreat time was had by all. See you in Edmonton for
the series wrap up and the crowning of our Champions.

<link>http://piraterc.com/modules.php?op=modload&amp;name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=2623</link>
<description>

The new RB exhaust cooler, as its name suggests, makes the
exhaust pressure cooler in order to prevent the fuel and fuel tank getting hot
and losing its shape. The fuel is cooler and so allow better performance. Its
biggest advantage is that the fuel consumption will drop. The exhaust cooler has
a very nice finish with its orange anodizing and great RB engraving and is
delivered with nylon holder, durite holder, silicon tube dust protections.
