Race Reports: Alsop Takes it to the Wire (979 Reads)
Posted by admin on Monday, October 01, 2007 - 10:35 AM

CML Distribution

Hobao driver Graham Alsop lost out on the BRCA Truggy championship in a last gasp race-off.

After the final round of the series in which Graham had been TQ and then finished 3rd, the series had become a complete tie on points between him and Jon Hazelwood. This left the organisers to find the best way to decide the series.

This was done by means of a 15 minute race-off between the 2 protagonists in which Graham was narrowly beaten by Jon.

This left the final standings as follows.....

1st Jon Hazelwood xray/PROLINE/BYRON/pacer
2nd Graham Alsop HOBAO/PROLINE/BYRON/RB
3rd Elliot Boots kyosho/PROLINE/BYRON/RB
