The Monster Mania 2007 race, held in Laupheim, Germany on May 26 - 28, 2007, had 130 drivers attend this special race. Which makes the Monster Mania probably one of the biggest specialised Monster Truck/ Truggy race event all over Europe.The Monster Mania race is a very special event! Besides the regular race event, there are 3 different "games" that are held:
- Trial track (2 laps with overall time counting)
- Pulling
- Freestyle JumpingWith a special point sytem, all four categories count together in order to crown the over Monster Mania champion. Pro-Line's Team Driver, Michael Gaul, took the overall Championship. He set a new freestyle jumping record of 19.5 meters (31.2 ft.).

The Hank Perry 240 is one of the longest running races in the U.S. The event is held at the Spokane R/C club in Spokane, WA. This year marks its 21st anniversary, and housed over 300 entries from all over the Pacific Northwest including some from Canada. The 1:8 buggy class saw an intense battle between Gary Guest, Ryan McCreary (+ 8sec), and Marcus Anzivino (1 lap).

XRAY is proud to announce that the upcoming 1/8 Off-road European Championship "B" is exclusively supported and sponsored by XRAY. As an upstanding member of the RC community, XRAY supports the hobby and helps organizers and clubs to organize races and events. Not only does XRAY support the A European Championship, but also supports the B Championship because it is more of a "race of the people"... regular drivers who are not factory sponsored. Race Reports: Round 3 of the French 1/8th Buggy Nationals (1054 Reads)

The 3rd round of the French 1/8th scale buggy Nationals took place this weekend at the Reims circuit in the North of France. The event was dominated by the European Champion Yannick Aigoin who set the fastest time in qualifying driving his RB powered XRAY, securing him TQ and the first starting position at the grid. After the bad luck in the previous two rounds of the French Championship this time Yannick earned the good luck. Yannick's XRAY XB8EC was unstopable and unbeatable and after the long final run Yannick took home the overal win of the 3rd round of the French 2007 Nationals.

Race report by Yannick Aigoin

Round 3 of the French Nationals was held at Reims, the Euros 2005 track. Yannick Aigoin was TQ after a great battle with G. Vray and R. Savoya during each round of qualifying. Michel Farina was also very fast and qualified 7th overall.

In the semi, Yannick and Michel bumped up easily into the main final.
