Race Reports: RRCi Rx Series, Frankley (987 Reads)

Xray Buggy Race report from Simon Tooley:
Practice went well and the XB8 handled the track with little trouble. The BNRC boys had worked hard and created a large track with plenty of passing opportunities and a large triple jump folled by a banked wall (nicknamed wall of death). Qualifying had not gone to plan so far, with a error on the last lap of rd 1 and technical issues in 2 and 3 it was down to heat
4 to make it count. A good 4th rd put me 9th in the A.

We had a 20 minute A and so I settled down well, some great pit work and the car was performing very well clearing the triple everytime which enabled some easy passing. The track was large too and had a very long sweeping top section requiring a 14t clutch bell. A great final with few mistakes and some top pit crew work resulted in best finish so far of 5th in the A.

Buggy's: TURMOIL PRO 1/8TH 4WD BUGGY & ARR BUGGY (1602 Reads)

Sport Werks

This is our first look at the Sportwerks Turmoil 1/8th off-road buggy. As with all Sportwerks products they are designed to the “ NO Limits, NO Rules, NO Mercy” criteria. Sportwerks are not newbie’s to the 1/8th scale off-road racing world but this is the first model to be released in the UK. Given the name Turmoil we are sure that this kit will certainly cause quite a stir and induce a state of confusion with the rest of the racing community.
