piraterc.com news
SRS at Kent what a turn out for these guys, with a whole list of big names would make a competitive day. Rain had dampened the track so kept the dust down but the surface was true old school & rough as hell. The saving grace being as the track is mainly sweepers the bumps did not cause to much of an issue if your head was switched into them.
A late start at 10.00 due to local restrictions meant time was tight but a strict time schedule was laid down & new recruit to the race control Miss Bailey kept us all on track so well done girlie.

piraterc.com news

Round 3 of the Piraterc SRS Series headed off to KMRC to do battle. a slightly later start than normal due to local council restrictions it was going to be a busy day with just shy of 90 racers making the trip. The track was rather on bumpy side to start the day and would evolve into true old school rallycross racing. If you didnt have your wits about you it would wipe you out in a cloud of dust. Progressed through the day and into the finals Ed Kerry driving his Novarossi powered Losi put in two fantastic runs to secure overall TQ for the day and additionally one of only two drivers to break the 11 lap mark for the day.

Piraterc Race Reports : Nemo Racing's Brennan Ralls Reports on the 2011 Paddy Piston Race (1464 Reads)
Posted by admin on Tuesday, July 05, 2011 - 03:41 PM

piraterc.com news The Nemo euro tour this week destinations would split so Jon was off to France and I would head to Ireland or more precise northern Ireland for the paddy piston race. This week a more relaxed feel for myself If you can say, straight from a night shift but would fly from Manston a small local airport some 15 minutes from my house in the far south of the uk. Distance some 600 miles so the chariot this time flybe a small twin prop plane, the journey interesting but felt more fly be the seat of your pants as the only bit I felt comfy on was on the ground or mid flight. Any thing in between i.e. Take off and landing scared the liveing daylights out of me as it twisted & turned all over the place due to turbulance. I tried the let's sleep and it all goes away ploy but funnily couldn't sleep ekkkkkkk.
