The track in that video is the nuts! I want a big arse jump like that at DRT

I had Kania's mp9 in my hands at fdl (kyosho paris) there are quite a lot of things that are still not visible in those pics that make the buggy different from the 777. it's actually quite funny, having seen it, how they have hidden the other changes.

The drive shafts, knuckles and diffs are all re-worked but aren't really visible in any of the press shots.
Can't wait for it to be available, it will certainly be joining my ST-RR in September/ October, with some piraterc stickers of course!  Cheesy

that price is correct, we have the cost from Kyosho so that is the right price at the moment. What we have been told is that the kit comes complete with wheels and tyres, all parts are the top spec version (no later released hop ups required that would bump up the price after you bought it)

What Kyohso are going to try to do is sort out some form of bundle for the shops, so, if they buy an mp9 they will get a really great deal on a motor combo. I can see lots of shops taking that saving and applying it to the price of the mp9 and selling the motor for the "normal" price. That could help push the price of the buggy down, but it's still not going to be extremely low. I saw a price on a German site the other day, germany gets their stock through kyosho germany so the cost was a little different but it was (at their best guess) still around £530.

So short of the shops selling the kit's for cost plus vat and making nothing at all I can't see the kits getting much cheaper without what I have out lined above.

People forget though, if you bought a 777 and then bought the big bores (£110)and the thin drive shafts (£70) and cnc knuckles (£53) you were certainly in the same ball park as the MP9 and you dodn't get wheels and tyres either.

WOW,  I heard this a couple of weeks ago and thought it was a joke, i love Kyosho cars but the main reason i stopped running one was because of the cost of spares. I know the parts Kyosho use are quality but over £600 HuhHuh?.
You're right in what you say Adam that when you purchase the MP9 it comes fully loaded, but most people dont have over £600 to lay out on a car in one lump, the 777 was a competative car out of the box itself, but it was the owners choice if they wanted to upgrade to the big bore shocks, driveshafts and knuckles in there own time or when they were able to fund them. Hopefully though the tyres that will be supplied will be a set of the new AKA's.

It will truely put a dent in any racers pocket pure cost is what has kept me away from kyosho and hence I have never even driven one around a track. I am sure i will get my hands on Adams for a lap or 2 after he has done the all important 1st race etc  Grin  The AKA tyres do look good and look to be a good long lasting tyre too
