Due to a tight summer schedule, LiveRC had not made any permanent plans to cover the IFMAR Worlds Warm up 2 race at the Farm II this weekend, however it is now official that we WILL be covering this race live! We will be arriving late Wednesday night and should have the broadcast up and running by sometime on Thursday early-afternoon. Additionally, this race will be our official test run of many new features that we will be revealing at the upcoming IFMAR World's this September. One notable feature will be the use of an exclusive online announcer to bring you a television like broadcast. Race announcer extraordinaire Scotty Ernst will be on site exclusively announcing for the LiveRC viewers. Make sure to tune-in and check out our most in-depth broadcast to date!

What is LiveRC?
LiveRC is an online program written in conjunction with RC Scoring Pro race management software to broadcast r/c car races in real time as they happen. The main race screen displays all of the information you would see if you were watching the screen at the track. All lap times and results are shown live as they happen, generally within 1 to 5 seconds of the actual race, no matter where in the world you are viewing from! Besides the live racing screen, the results of each race are uploaded automatically within 20 seconds of the race ending. This means that you no longer need to wait for a person to upload the results! Along with broadcasting the races live as they happen, you can also watch live practice times during practice sessions. This feature allows you to see who is currently practicing, what a persons practice lap times have been throughout the entire event, and who the fastest drivers in each class are. Racers who have an internet connection at the track are also able to view their lap times after their practice session is over.

Live Audio & Video
If the track hosting a race has a high speed internet connection, LiveRC is also able to provide a real-time audio and video feed to the users. At select events that the LiveRC crew attends, LiveRC will support multiple cameras, replays, pre-recorded interviews, and more.

Additional Features
Along with the live scoring and results, LiveRC also encorporates a real-time chat window for viewing users to communicate with each other. Users who are logged in can view who else is on and talk about the race as it is happening. Some new features of LiveRC now include a picture archive for select events, video archive of recorded races, racer profiles, and a FantasyRC module (see below). All of these features are tied into 1 screen so you can use and moniter everything at once.

NEW: FantasyRC Module
LiveRC.com now has a built in FantasyRC module, part of FantasyRC.com. With this new feature, you can build your own team and compete against other online members. The FantasyRC module is tied right into the LiveRC screen, so you can create and edit your team from there. For more information on FantasyRC, please go to FantasyRC.com.

What do I need to do to get started?
To get started, all you need to do is click the "Launch Live Scoring Window" button below. To take advatage of some of the features such as the chat, you will need to create an RCPassport account. Creating an account is 100% free and will give you access to all of the features on the RCCars.com Network. We respect your privacy, and will never sell our member list or your email address. To create an account Click Here http://passport.rccars.com/register.php
