this one of my car is immense, now do you understand why i called it a day, after my bump up. I did one of the twenty minute finals and it started to bucket down during the race everything was sealed but after i came in there was a few drops had got into  the radio tray i had to marshall for someone so i didnt have time to dry it out so i thught i'd call it a day and live to race another day it wouldve been pricey for me if my radio gear went Smiley enjoyed my racing to be fair was chasing set ups and tyres i liked all day  though didnt get it sussed untill the last rounds and my final doh.

great shot pirate

Silicon grease, condoms, cable ties and water balloons in a pack!

Seriously... anyone not experianced in waterproofing a car in the field...  Condoms round receiver and battery, put a glob of silicon grease in and cable tie around it to make a seal.  Run silicon grease around the lid of radio tray to seal.  For the hole in the radio tray where leads come out, again silicon grease but also a foam earplug to really make sure.  Then around the BASE of servos where it seals together, more silicon grease.  I use a water balloon, cable tie and grease to protect my battery charge plug that is mounted outside my tray for charging ease.  Also a little grease where the wires go into the PT.

Another good tip is a big glob of grease around the screw and outer shield of bearing on the clutch bell to protect that bearing.  Then spray everything you can except the clutch and brakes with WD40...

Personally i don't use ribbed condoms, but that one's down to personal choice  :p
