I came across Renaud Savoya's MBX6 base setups on another forum and they seem way out there in comparison to what everybody else seems to run.

Anybody want to comment on how they think these will work? The diff settings are massively different from anything I've seen recommended previously with the 6.

Also found some pictures of his MBX6:

Shaved screws, carbon side guards, trimmed pivot pins, no chassis braces front or rear, dremelled bumper, machined lightweight diff outputs, drilled out spring cups, larger holes in the shock caps, bent wire steering link, dremmelled front hubs, but this looks like a way of gaining more steering lock as much as weight saving, even the little moulding to the gearbox covers that is used to secure the shell in front of the shock tower is dremelled away both front and rear. So yes it is extreme weight saving - must have hours of fun shaving all those screws down  Shocked   Wink

Mind you Savoya's has then fitted heavier alloy rear hubs...

I've often wondered what was going on with Savoya's camber angles maybe everyone else new but I think I just found the answer.

Similar sheets to these have just been posted up on Neo and he states on the bottom lines "Camber angle set chassis on ground"

I presume he must take the shocks off and let the chassis hit the deck to adjust his cambers. It would explain the much larger than normal amount of camber he runs and seems like a good way to do it as you take the ride height variable out of the equation.

Once at normal ride height his cambers will be similar to everyone elses.... wonder how many fans out there have very little grip running 5 degrees camber with level wishbones hehe
