Had a few car set-up problems today as this was my first time out with the car and only my second race. With the help of Jim (herts club) and Adam Wild my car was running pretty well. I qualified 2nd on the grid for the c final and had an awesome race, as far as i know i won but the transponder/laptop went tits up and put me in 6th!! Was meant to bump up but obdviously the computer said otherwise Angry Anyway, still enjoyed it and learnt some more. Smiley

your welcome nial.
my day was ok Roll Eyes
1st round was good, happy with the car and managed 9 laps,
2nd round could have been better, engine cut put me out and only managed 5 laps Embarrassed
3rd round was another good round with 9 laps.
the car seemed to have loads of grip and punch out of the corners Grin, that was until the mud found its way into everything and ended up at about 3 ton Shocked.
i was well happy with my qualifing ended up 7th overall Grin
started 6th on the grid, got tied up as usual off the start and came out last as usual
the final was a nightmare for me,had 2 engine cuts and on thr third i decided to stop with 5 mins to go.
sorryWill,i did not mean to make you run around like a loon, but many thanks.
got home and took out the engine, think i found out what the problem was with all the cuts Shocked
if i held the flywheel i could move the con rod in and out and up and down about 2 mm in all directions Roll Eyes
time for a new one me thinks, still not bad going its done all year,so cant moan at that.

I was really shocked how easy my MP9 was to drive. Being a truggy racer all summer till now the only time I had driven a buggy before Sunday was using Matt's tripple 7 for two heats in the summer and I hated that. Sunday the Kyosho just felt so much more forgiving.

Can't wait till round two to have another go! Grin

yeah jas you was kicking mate nice qualifying, i was missing out on the 9 lap club by 1 or 2 seconds all day  Cry when you get a minute can you fill in a set up sheet on Team Xray site i want to have a look at how your final set up ended up. Mine was hooked apart from a bit of a bouncy rear on the bumps  Roll Eyes What engine you getting mate staying with Rb or you moving on to OS based mills.
