The AKA winter series is open to all AKA tyres and there is no issue running them as they avail in the modelshops

Grids are allowed - only reason it specifically talks about city block and i-beam tyres on the poster is that's all that were available when Mr Pirate knocked up the poster Cheesy

Having said that, the City Block/I-beam combo still seems to work best - I believe MrC tried the Grids last weekend but went back to City Beam combo.

Maybe worth getting 3 pairs of tyres - 1 of each?

Run any AKA  tyre choice you deem suitable however the best tyre is the I-beam for the current track conditions

40 lashes for Mr Pirate for spreading duff info then!  Maybe at an earlier round then?  The Grids do seem to work well at Slough, I gather?
