BACKWARDS racing?

Do you guys reckon we should race the track in reverse?
I tested this the last time I was there and it makes the track very different, the jumps seem OK and I reckon it 'feels' quicker!
I'm not suggesting we do this permanently, but maybe do 2 races then switch for another 2 etc. for the summer and see how it goes.
Simple bit of pipe work and relocation of the loop is all that's needed for the track to be ready, but can you adjust your brain to go the other way?

We did think about this before BUT the problem we ran into was the timing loop. to do it properly we would have to install another look just after ( going clockwise) the pit lane and just before the first corner.

I wouldn't have a problem running it the other way, would be quite fun.

So I guess it's certainly dooable but its not a five minute job to complete the conversion.

Running the track in the opposite direction is on the cards  just requires some modification that should take 3-4 hours and all should be good to go

Regarding the timing loop, this is not a problem as we just pick up the current loop and place it where required.
When i redesigned the new loop, I did it with this in mind.

i had a couple laps backwards last sunday i take it back its pretty dam cool. i like the full throttle coming towards the rostrum from the top left and the mains straight in front of the rostrum is pretty cool you can stay on power round the left hander. its fun to drive but the jumps are non existent that way thats the only thing.

Next time we do some track work we can re shape the jumps with some dirt and the roller so they work the other way.
Everything else is done and ready to go.
