Hi guys.

just out of interest I'm currently looking at this servo HS-5625MG from Hitec to be used in the MBX6. Was having a look at this one which would be an analog one HS-985MG. The digital one MG has got 9.4 kg of steering power whilst the analog one is a coreless motor servo.

I could imagine that due to the offroad the servos need to be more robust as onroad is smooth and offroad is quite bumpy which could mean that I'd have a lot of corrections. So speed could be an important factor I guess.

What types of servos are you guys using and do you trust analog ones or should it be a digital one?

Personally i wouldnt touch Hitec servo's  Cool

What you ideally want is

something around the 10 - 14 kg mark for the steering

and the 9kg mark on the throttle

I had a combination of the following running the 14kg servo on the steering

Team Associated XP DS1015 Hi Torque/High Speed Digital Servo

just watch out for current drain on some servos
