No rest for the wicked work work work & a little play.

My last National at slough was a good end to the national series. Was on the pace from the word go just errors in rnd 1 & 3 cost me a stab at the A so had to try the hard way from the B. To be honest it was just flat out racing so very hard & the only time you made up was in the pits. The 10 minute stop put me in with a chance but being brought in 1 lap early would cost me at the end. Battled hard with Mr Wilcox & Taylor for the bump up & it would be to the last 2 laps. Stuart flamed out giving me the 4th coming onto the last lap but hitting a bump caused my car to wheelie & whilst backing off to steer Sam got the inside nothing i could do & he got the bump up. You know that early stop meant i flamed out 3 turns from home. Great day though.

SRS Finals
pace of car was good, lower ability heat made it hard & would cost me each round but thats racing. Put it in the A but this was cancelled due to computer failure, disapointed as car was far better than qualifying position.

With main series now out of the way its that time of the year to chat with sponsors & sort the deals for the coming season. For me i retain my factory drive with Xray & Hudy, Ko Radio through RC Disco. I would like to thanks CML as they now support me for Proline & Byron so with most things now sorted we can just look forward to the coming races. As for the UK Xray Team so come some go but we end up with a very strong team still & will announce more when it can become official.

Slough final Summer series

Few more test parts to work my way through but these have been proving very succesful. A bit of practice & a play with the RB B9.
Rnd 1 stormer & 4th being only a few seconds of tq
Rnd 2 engine tune probs but these my fault, thinking i had missed start overdrove but ended up 6th & in the A
Rnd 3 again engine cuts & missed start

My final new my car was good but know i had not put enough fuel through the engine & it would be hit & miss. Yep miss & cut at the start, once re started pace was good & only .5 of a second of Mr Boots phenominal pace so was pleased there but alas not to be.

A Learning curve for me with the RB & to be honest did not do it any justice. The power delivery was awsome & very enjoyable to use, I am now fully aware i need to get allot more fuel through before it finally beds in & shall do before i bring it out again, but trust me will use it again when i get the opertunity as i did like it allot  Grin Grin.

Well thats all the news folks, got an invite for the champion of champion finals by yours truly Mr Pirate so will let you know how that ends, then its time to hang up the TX for a bit to earn some browny points with the misses you know decorating & crap like that  Cry Cry Cry
