Was a great day's racing  Grin So nice to be out on track again for the 1st time in months!  Even better that we had a laugh huddled under the Xray team gazebo to keep warm  Cheesy

The 808s were performing well in the cold weather - no reliability worries whatsoever

Apologies due for a couple of schoolboy errors on my part when getting lapped by the top 3, although I blame the marshal for putting me down right in front of Eliot  Embarrassed  Hopefully it all balanced out  Roll Eyes  Must remember to wear a peaked cap for the final instead of my winter head gear - I couldn't see where my car was pointing over a quarter of the lap with the sun low in the sky, wasn't even sure which car was mine at one point!

Happy days - hope Slough runs on the 17th  Grin

Was a good day & you finished 4th so a good day for you Adrian. The new 808 10 spec felt as if on rails so very happy there trading lap times with elliot & kev so pleased with its performance. Caps are always a must at clanfield especially this time of year as sun is so low.

Slough all being well like you said on the 17th if this snow & cold weather ever goes.

ahhh the armchair racer mocks Wink Wink  It was one of those races that could of gone three ways, i led for a good five minutes feeling very comfy but the randomness of lapping always throws in problems. THe same happened for all of us with back marker problems, marshalls etc . Had a great race & enjoyed it, just happy in the new chassis package & my driving pace has moved up that next stage which boads well for this year. Grin

Best you start saving & come racing again Mr Pirate

I might get round to cleaning the mud off the car today - can't go anywhere with all the snow we've had overnight!

I can remember trying to drive a fire engine onto weigh pads (without water in it, only kit loaded) and it was not the easiest thing to do - they're not exactly linear on the old power delivery, especially being auto boxes!  I kept spitting the weigh pads out the back with all the torque!  Had to make sure nobody was stood behind it after the 1st attempt!
