I tested a prototype at the weekend and was very impressed. My engine is not normally up to temperature for my races as I am involved in race control now and to know that the engine can get up to temp before starting it is great. After doing the BRCA National at Ware where you are not allowed to start your engine before the final I can see it being a great help. Also to be able to heat up new engines to run them in is going to be fantastic. Tried this on a new Sirio at the weekend and it helped alot. A friend at my club is now making these.

There's a lengthy thread on Maxbashing, with details for ordering.  I've got my name down for one  Grin should have it by the time of the SRS I reckon, as I'm in the 2nd batch.

I thought this was a great idea when Steve made his - the one John is producing is being made on a batch basis, so it's proving reasonably cost effective to knock out. Certainly no shortage of takers!

More details here:

Positive response from the likes of Sloppy too - certainly useful for 1st start of the day particularly, even at this time of year.  Come the winter it'll make life much less stressful on our motors  Grin
