SRS Rnd 3 Kent

A trip to Kent for Rnd 3 of the SRS series, track again bathed in glorious sunshine so had the potential for a great event. Recent track works led to a loose surface which would lead to a dust problem all day which is a shame. The entry was good but an event also running close by kept numbers down, just a shame other clubs in the series dont respect this to keep the date clear .

To the racing & for some reason Ive done something wrong for Kent & ended up first heat out again & dust clearer had no chance this round..
Rnd 2 & 3 clear track & fair chance although navigating back markers every lap is hard work to get a great time, most of the guys in the heat respected the faster car so thanks there although several wanted to race every inch so frustrating.
Stuck it 5th on the grid but with the blown out track not totally happy with the setup so knew it would be a battle.
The final went ok although some appaling driving standards for what was meant to be the top guys was dissapointing. A good start & up to 3rd but my mistakes dropped me back to 5th where each time i regained position lost it through a mistake. A rare flame out in the pits not sure why cost me & nose planting a track marker flat out on the jumps at 15 minutes broke it, 1st dnf in 2-3 years so not so bad but poor points.
