Euro's B this weekend  so another early start on the Thursday & some 7 hours driving  with Mr H to Lyon. The journey was comfortable & easy with no issues or traffic problems. On arriving headed to the track to get our bearings, A simple layout with many challenges that needed to be right to be fast. The surface  looked as if it would break up & blow out very quickly but would see how that would develop.
Off to the hotel to find the dates had been booked wrong, what was worse they had no space for that night but the place did next door. So off we trotted & booked in only to open the door and have visions murder had been committed here in the past, eeeeeekk only one night we convinced ourselves.
Friday & checked out real quick phew still alive & off to the track, weather was scorching so surface started to bake real hard but would still get bumpy throughout the day.
How'd it go 1st practice seemed great nailed the jumps straight away & settled into a good pace that got quicker with each lap as I learnt the lines.
Practice 2 tire change & happy with balance & pace although engine started to play around.
Practice 3 & reseed time, had a retune on the bench but when going out the tune all over the place again so baffled, a good run till the 4 minute mark when it cut so run over. From here changed fuel lines & run in a new engine, not ideal but my only option. On the final tune noticed air bubbles in the fuel line & issue seemed to be the fuel filter and possible cause all along. This was chucked but still not taking any risks so ran the new stuff.
Practice 4 pressure on & drove like a plum, reseed not to bad but would have to make pace in the heats.

Great night out with the French side of Nemo, good food & company a perfect evening.

Saturday & quail time just shame lady luck still up for kicking me.
Each run fast pace & possible  semi time as lap times where there just not for a whole run as random things would get me, nothing I did wrong just random. Example overtaking a car under the crossover only for it to slide hit me sending my car under the up ramp, 20 seconds for the marshal to commando crawl & retrieve run over. Stone dug out from car in front leaves me on my roof another run over. Each run was like this & total disappointment, car was great the luck not so & 128th final for me gutted. Needless to say a quiet night & gluing allot of tires.

Sunday up bright & breezy & 1st out in 128th  a little sketchy at first but settled in to win by over a lap.
1/64th  down the inside & into 4th by 3rd corner & lead by lap 2, again went on to win.
1/32nd down the inside as before & again into 4th  by lap 2, again the bump.
1/16th track time is king & really helps now again the bump.
1/8th  down the inside is working so played that game again & into 4th just hooked a wheel in a rut & slowed enough to be collected by mayhem. Fought back to 5th quickly but could not gain time. Gambled on only one stop as would of remained in 5th but the new engine not up for that yet & run out just before the up ramp. This lost enough time to lose the advantage so race over really. Enjoyed the bump time & racing as had finally found the love & lines on the track.

For Nemo & agama the day would only get better as Jonathan Barco would win the event giving Jon H his first title for the Team so what a result. After much celebrating it was time to head back making Reims by midnight for the stop over & the 1030 ferry the next morning.

So that was my Euro's many lows but more than out weighed by mammoth bump up session & team victory. National at Wakefield.
