It was awesome for me. Had my best run of qualifying since I switched to buggy. Only one run not finished and was getting faster all the time. Didn't quite make the 12 laps which was my target after 3 rounds but I know I could have if I had driven to the best of my speed, which was pleasing. Bumped from last automatic in The B into the A. There were others who were quicker than me and probably deserved to be in there but with breakages etc I managed to make it into last spot in the A final. Felt a bit out of my depth there and struggled to concentrate for the full hour after already doing 30mins in the B. Managed to finish it even with 5 or 6 engine cuts so all in all not too disheartened. Hope its even better next year

The lads at BADMCC put on a good event, the weather running up to the event was diabolical and we thought the worse but they prepped there track in any spare window they had fairplay to them. There was a bit of rain the day before and the members where out sucking the standing water away and rolling the track. All of a sudden the sun come out saturday afternoon and it stayed put till sunday.

A few changes to the track where noticed from last time and these improved what already is my favourite track to race on. The track time was needed having done just 4 meetings since the last one i was very RUSTY but thanks to all the track time you get there i had done about 90 minutes run time by half way point of qualifying happy days.

results wise i would say it was a bit of a stinker took me ages to get back into 1:8 and i just coudlnt concentrate for the whole ten minutes but come the end of day one i found my feet and was getting more consistent and posted a decent time. however saturday night in the club next door to our b&B they had St Trininan night so its fair to say i had a few drinks and about an hours sleep cancelling out any talent and form i might have had (no regrets Grin)

sunday qualfiers was throw away after throw away didnt make the A main but witnessed a master class from sloppy and a determined consistent run from local lad Barklay

overall it was a great weekend spent with good friends we had a good Crack on and off the track brian, kifo, cree, rob forbes, milan had me laughing all weekend good times

the lads in nth ireland put on a fantastic show and if they do another one i'll be all over it need to get in that one hour A main before i hang up my transmitter lol

It was a great weekend, congratulations to Barkley for creating the event and making it run like clock work.
Track held up, damp start to the weekend and the sun came out, bonus.
Loads of track time for everyone, 10 minute heats not normally a problem, but in the heat, fuel was being used.
Bonus for myself was to qualify directly into the A final, first time in 3 years.
60 minutes running and no engine cuts, a little bottom end richen helped during the race. Thanks to my pitman Paul.
I hope everyone enjoyed themselves, I did.
Until next year.....
