I know it’s been just rumours floating around the pits and tracks, but I got asked to run a Midlands Regional Series in 2012. I sorted a great team together and we have called it 'The Midlands Super Cup'.
We have seen the need to put together a race series for the Midlands Region in 2012. We have invited clubs in the region to host a round of the TMSC and be part of this exciting new series. All the races will be running to BRCA Rules and each round will be capped at 105 drivers. If you haven’t booked in early enough then you will miss out on some great racing.
TMSC will consist of 6 tracks, them being;
NDOR....21st 22nd April
Ledbury....12th 13th May
DRCORC.....9th 10th June
Nene Valley.....30th June 1st July
NRC.....5th August
Coventry.....1st 2nd September
Born from the need to put the enjoyment back into the hobby, we are aiming to get back to the grass roots of regional racing, we will still be running under the BRCA rules as every club already should be going by. We welcome any ability and any age, so if you have got a buggy or truggy then all that is needed is to book into the series. We want to get everyone involved from the lowest ability to the highest ability drivers in the country, mixing it up together. We hope that all RC Racers young and old will enjoy racing at 6 tracks taking part in this new race series. We want to encourage everyone to take part and have a fun day of racing, at great venues with great people and loads of fun. After all fun is what it’s all about!!!
A new format for a new series means no more private, supported or sponsored but a championship that encourages all ages and abilities, with championship trophies for Junior, Senior and Veteran and also for ability 1-5 & 6-10 and of course the main championship trophy.
Just 4 rounds from 6 to count and sponsored by RC Disco and Podiium RC we’re hoping that you racers will join us to make this a great new Summer Series this year and for years to come.
