Hereford Radio Car Club can smell the winds of change in the RC world. They are now promoting a 1/10th night as this class makes a well deserved return to favour.

Over the last few years 1/10th off-road electric racing has taken a bit of a bashing as touring cars and then later 1/8th nitro racing became the most popular classes in RC racing. With the release of the Associated B44, the low cost of brushless motors and speed controls, along with lipo batteries being reduced, it would seem that 1/10th off-road is making a come back in 2008!

The Hereford Club, known for its micro events, has now gone off-road only on one of its Friday club nights. Alternating between circuit/oval and off road, Hereford has seen a large demand for off-road club meetings and has taken the opportunity to provide the radio control off road racer with a friendly, indoor facility once a fortnight, with a view to running some rather large indoor meetings in 2008/9.

Hereford Radio Car Club also run many 1/18th scale off-road events along side the 10th 2wd and 4wd. For more info on HRCC, location, and race dates please go to www.1st-hrcc.co.uk
