Losi driver Mike Truhe put on one of the finest performances of his career so far, ruthlessly dominating the 2008 ROAR buggy nationals A-main. Taking the lead by the first corner, Truhe found a pace that no one else could manage. 6 mins in, Tebo was 9 sec behind and falling further, by 13mins the top 9 were on the lead lap, 17 min in, Truhe had a 17 second lead, bear in mind laptimes are around 28sec... 18-20 Ryan Maifield and Tebo were battling until Maifield flamed out. Almost halfway through and Truhe is closing in on Tebo to lap him, by 34mins he is on Tebos wing. 36 min down, Billy Fischer is only 6sec behind Tebo, having upped his pace and put together a solid late fight for 2nd. 40min down - Truhe, Tebo, Fischer. 45min, Fischer still behind Tebo, by 51min Tebo hits some traffic, and Fischer quickly catches him. Tebo and Fischer start to battle, all the while Truhe is out front by 1+ lap. 53 min Fischer goes past Tebo for 2nd, 55min Fischer carves out a 4 second lead. Truhe crosses the finish line one hour and 126 laps after taking the lead in the first corner, a Losi 1,2 and TQ man Tebo rounds out the top 3.
